It's a "movie". Like, idol movie with plot. There are good and bad ways to pull off stuff like that.
And I very very much do not like them looking girly. Japanese guys come across as feminine enough at times. Playing murderous or psychotic or something would then show them digging into their acting side. Dressing like a girl isn't really a huge acting skill in Japan, because everyone and their father seems to do it. It's unoriginal now. I'd actually love to see these guys playing psychotic. I have a whole new appreciation for Ohno from Arashi after seeing Maou. Crazy manipulative characters are hot. And I'm not even much an Arashi fan.
