I'm curious...
Has this been on sale anywhere else?

The rice part...

69 Thai baht a piece.
(1USD= 36.20 baht)
Expensive!!

I just have to try it for the idea of using rice patties in place of buns.

**Further clarifications:**
It should look all nice and fluffy like this.

credit: McDonald's Thailand.

And you can choose either chicken or pork filling.
The patties are made with seasoned rice with some kind of mushrooms
and grilled them to gain the taste like they were baked in a terracotta pot.
Then added garlic mayonnaise.
Or so they say...

Actually, the taste is not that distinctive so you can tell which is which.
The rice is kinda soft and a little yucky. (^---^)
But for them to make the rice stay in that shape, I have to give them credits.
Coz Thai rice is nowhere as sticky as Japanese rice.

The way they present the burger sounds delicious. Yeah, I'm one of those people that you can fool quite easily through clever advertising XD;;

ahh!! i saw this when i visited hk last march. it was a new item, but my hk cousins said it was nasty. apparently the rice was soft and soggy and just plain disgusting. based on their comments, there was no way i wanted to try it!!
