One by One Concert...
May 19,2007
I had a chance to go and see this concert.
And I was disappointed!
No! Not with the boys. As far as I could see and hear, they're fine.
But I have to ask myself what I expected from a concert in Thailand.
I might not have gone to the right place afterall.
Hey, I like the boys.
I wanted to go to their concert to hear them sing LIVE.
Alas!!!
I couldn't hear a single word out of them.
The Thunder Dome in Muang Thong Thani filled up with crazy screaming girls that night.
They showed their love by screaming their hearts and lungs and viscera out.
They screamed for no reasons at all.
The boys came out they screamed. The boys moved they screamed.
The boys talked they screamed.
Worse still, when the boys started to sing,
the place had transformed into a huge karaoke place.
Coz everyone sang from the start to the end without letting the boys sing at all.
I felt trapped in a large congregation of people singing karaoke in unison.
Which was not what I came for.
I now understood what a friend faced
when she went to see Dong Bang Shin Ki concert last year.
She also wanted to hear the Korean boys sing live.
And she was trapped not unlike me.
She said her ears rang for the rest of the night.
All the pictures were taken from the farthest and highest seat.
With that pass I could roam to the stage and could even go back stage,
but I wouldn't dare risk being deaf.
I don't know the culture of going to a concert anymore.
As far as I know from Kanjani 8' concerts
and some by Japanese performers, it's not like this.
