I see, that's crazy... @_@ Well, buying Japanese stuff from outside of Japan is crazy.... My orders from CDJapan are a mystery. Some light packages arrive with extra taxes due to custom regulations and stuff... And some heavy boxes arrive at my home, without problems... ¬¬U
I've never tried ordering photobooks or magazines, cause I just recently got into this "actors" fandom and so far I've resorted to other people selling photosets and stuff like that, only. ^^U But probably, if I tried to order stuff like that, I'd have to pay more for the shipping expenses than for the items themselves as well... u_uU
